Inverted roofs
Â
The insulation of roofs with inverted arrangement of layers, i.e. when the thermal insulation is placed on the sealing layer, has many advantages, particularly in terms of providing optimum working temperature of the waterproof insulation, as well as protecting it against damage and enhancing the durability of the entire roof.
Such a roof structure can be covered with gravel or layer of greenery, so as to be used as a parking space or terrace.

Peripheral insulation
Â
Peripheral insulation – provides thermal insulation of the outer surface of the building, directly under the ground level, as well as providing additional protection of the waterproof insulation against mechanical damage.
The parameters of the Synthos XPS panels enable them to be used to insulate walls in cellars, as well as foundation walls and panels which are in direct contact with the ground, and in the presence of underground water.

Insulation of steep roofs
Â
The excellent thermal insulation parameters enable the Synthos XPS panels to be applied as insulation of steep roofs. The high strength of the panels is able to withstand the load of the roof covering and enables them to be mounted above the load-bearing structure. This, combined with the simple processing method, enables a quick and easy assemble process. The arranging of panels into a single, continuous layer minimises the occurrence of thermal bridges.
