XPS PRIME on the construction site of a factory of batteries for electric car:

LG Chem Energy is building another e-car battery factory in Poland. The construction started in June this year. The Polish LG Chem Energy plant, which is located in Biskupice Podgórne, already produces batteries on the first lines which are used by, among others, Daimler, Porsche, Volvo, Audi, Renault and Jaguar. LG Chem Energy plans to produce batteries in our country for about 1 million e-cars per year. After the completion of the investment, the plant near Wrocław will become the largest complex producing batteries for electric cars in Europe.

The factory will occupy an area of about 40 hectares. Synthos S.A. supplied 3,370m3 of XPS PRIME 70L/60 PRIME S panels to the construction site, which were used for thermal insulation of floors in production and warehouse buildings with an office and social area (hall area is over 21.5 thousand m2) and in technical, battery testing and warehouse buildings.

This is another LG investment completed with the use of our materials.

The general contractor of the investment is the company from Serveone Europe sp. z o.o. and the contractor is Poburski Dachtechnik Sp. z o.o. and P.U.S Termatex Sp. z o.o. and the main designer is arch. Anna Szałkowska.

The Synthos XPS deliveries were carried out by our customers, companies: SIG o / Wrocław and Werbau Sp. z o.o. from Poznan.

The total area of the building: over 41,000 m2.

Implementation time: in stages from 2016 to 2021.
